The List Item element is a ready-made "card" that bundles three pieces together in one: an image, a headline, and a paragraph. Instead of dragging in and lining up those three elements yourself every time, the List Item gives you the whole combo pre-assembled — perfect for things you show in repeating cards, like products, team members, testimonials, or feature highlights.
Heads up — this is not the same as the List Group element. The names are similar, so it's easy to mix them up:
- List Item (this article) = an image + headline + paragraph card.
- List Group = a simple text list with bullet/number/checkmark markers. See List Group Element Settings.
Note on adding it first: Like any element, the List Item needs a row with a column to sit in.
Step 1 — Open the editor and go to Components
Open your page in the editor, click the Plus (+) icon, and go to Components → Elements.

Step 2 — Add the List Item element
Find the List Item element and drag it into a column on your page.

Step 3 — Customize its three parts
A List Item is made of three sub-elements, and each one has its own settings. Click into the part you want to change:
- Image — click the image area to upload or select your picture.
- Headline — double-click to type your title text.
- Paragraph — double-click to type your description text.
So you style the image, headline, and paragraph individually, just as you would if they were separate elements — they're simply grouped together as one tidy card.

Use case example
Say you're showcasing a product. The three parts map neatly onto it:
- Image — a photo of the product.
- Headline — the product's name.
- Paragraph — a short description.
The same structure works for a team member (photo, name, role), a testimonial (customer photo, name, quote), or a feature (icon/image, feature name, explanation). To show several side by side, place a List Item in each column of a multi-column row, or duplicate the one you've styled so they all stay consistent.
Common situations & quick fixes
"The List Item element won't drop onto the page." It needs a row with a column to sit in. If your section is empty, add a row first (Plus icon → Components → Rows), then drop the List Item into a column.
"Is this the same as the List Group element?" No. List Item is an image + headline + paragraph card. List Group is a bullet/number/checkmark text list. If you wanted a simple ticked benefits list, use List Group instead (see List Group Element Settings).
"I can't change the image / headline / paragraph." Click directly into the specific part you want to edit — each of the three has its own settings. Double-click the headline or paragraph to edit the text; click the image area to swap the picture.
"I want several cards side by side but they're stacking." Put each List Item in its own column of a multi-column row (e.g. a 3-column row for three product cards). One card per column keeps them side by side instead of stacked.
"My cards look uneven or inconsistent." Style one List Item the way you want, then duplicate it for the others so the image size, fonts, and spacing all match — rather than building each from scratch.
"My changes aren't showing on the live page." Edits need to be saved and published before visitors see them. After editing, save and re-publish if the page is already live.
Still stuck?
If a List Item won't add, edit, or display the way you expect after trying the steps above, submit a ticket and tell us which page you're editing and what you're seeing — a screenshot of your editor helps us sort it out quickly.
