Membership & Community Lock Automatically on Non-Payment

Modified on Wed, 14 Oct at 4:53 PM

When a subscription payment fails, FlexiFunnels automatically locks the customer's access once your grace period ends. When the customer pays, access comes back instantly. You don't need to chase payments or remove anyone manually.

How It Works

  1. A subscription payment fails or isn't completed.
  2. The customer keeps access during your grace period.
  3. If the payment is still not made when the grace period ends, their membership and community access is locked automatically.
  4. As soon as the customer pays, access is restored instantly.

Key Points

  • Automatic locking: No manual removals or follow-ups needed.
  • Grace period: Customers get time to fix a failed payment before they lose access.
  • Instant restore: Access returns the moment the payment is received.
  • Covers membership and community: Both are locked and unlocked together.

Troubleshooting

  • Customer paid but still has no access: Ask them to log out and log back in. Then confirm in your dashboard that the payment was received and the subscription shows as active.
  • Customer was locked sooner than expected: Check the grace period set for the product, as the lock happens only after it ends.
  • Customer still has access after non-payment: They may still be within the grace period. Check the subscription status and the due date in your dashboard.
